some people should not be allowed to have children and forget about "wanting to whoop him" JUST DO IT! It's sad to say but our people have lost their backbone when it comes to disciplining children.

when i first saw this i was agast! i wanted to zip through the monitor and into cyber space and whoop his ass myself! *smdh*

it's official...the mother, the grandmother, and the child need to be beaten. Geez-lou-wheez. why are some people allowed to have children.

This is why I never had any desire to go into juvenile law. I sat in juvenile court one summer and my stomach ached. Seeing cases like this really makes you wonder why our society is failing these kids? He said oh - I probably will have my video games taken away for a weekend. Hmm..they need to sell all his stuff and put him in boot camp where his butt may get some sense knocked into him. Thanks for sharing!

That this would be seen as "newsworthy" just... oh man. I hate, hate, hate what has happened to broadcast media. Everything is reality TV now, I guess. (Meant to entertain.)

I could not be in law because I know I would be the most hated district attorney. maybe it's because of my upbringing...I see things in black and white...not gray. It is not our job(society) to attend to these kids sis...it's the parents plain and simple. I have the same problem when we have our grandchildren over. When I say something to them once, they do it, when it comes to Z, she has to tell them over and over. Many women of today are not like the strong women of the past and I really wish women would see themselves as God see them. Many of them have this concept, "a piece of man is better than having NO man." Women are more special than just a piece of tail. But the older I get it is up to the individual to realize their worth.

As for the 7 year old? He needs to lose his freedom for a while to see that there are consequences for certain action. I did stupid stuff coming up as a child but I had more fear of my mother than what my friends thought of me...this respect and fear of mothers are totally lost now.
