UPDATE: For those who asked, I just wanted to post this song lyrics because I remembered how much I loved it. The cool thing is I remember back when it first came out, I use to think play it all the time, but never fully understood what it was to feel that way about someone. Now, after being married I can listen to something like this and think. "Oh, that's what that feels like." In any case, beautiful song and beautiful lyrics.

I've finally found a theater in San Francisco that's showing Diary Of The Dead. After months of trying to find a copy on line, I've decided to give up and do it the old fashion way and see it an actual theater. The trailer looks good, so let's give it try, ok?

Green Eyes... Not So Good

I've finally got the urge to start writing again. I've been trying to writing my first full-length novel. But I always seem to run out of steam in the beginning. So I've decided to just write it in 'serial' format. I'll write a chapter and post it. That way i can make progress. It's basically your typical zombie story, set in San Francisco. You follow four groups of surviving humans who fight their way through the dead infested city and inevitably meet up and stand together to survive.

The first chapter is up at WritersCafe.org. I need to just stay on it. I don't expect it to be that good. It's more of a creative release when music doesn't do it for me.

CENSORED!!!

Shameful. After MyFox Chicago ran a little piece questioning why a violent game is being advertised on city buses, the head of the Chicago Transit Authority had the ads removed. There are so many things wrong with this, from ignorance on parade to the violation of free speech as a public authority arbitrarily decides what gets to be advertised and what doesn’t. Earlier they decided that M-rated games were equivalent to X-rated movies. No doubt there are still ads for Cialis, the NRA, and the military still cruising around town.

In fact, this very issue came up in Boston with a marijuana legalization campaign and they sued the Transit Authority and won. Ridiculous, isn’t it? But this is how we do it. Two steps forward, one step censored.

Oscar has a rare virus that causes her to pull out her feathers because they irritate her. She has survived 12 years so far. And yes, Oscar is a girl. It was a year before Humane Society workers determined through a blood test that what they thought was male, was truly female, and it was too late to change names.
